Air source heat pump water heater unit put into use at Tianjin plant

After the introduction of green electricity and clean energy, to reduce and eliminate carbon emissions in the heating process of natural gas boilers and realize the effective use of clean energy, on October 16, 2024, the air source heat pump water unit replacing the heating of natural gas boilers was officially put into use at Tianjin plant.

The air source heat pump uses the heat energy in the air for heating, has a high energy utilization efficiency, does not need to burn fuel during operation, and does not produce greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and pollutant emissions.

Compared with the original natural gas boiler, after the air source heat pump is put into use at plant, the main natural gas pipeline is deactivated, reducing the safety risk of natural gas leakage, fire, or explosion, to eliminate a significant source of hazard at plant.

Through the introduction of air source heat pumps instead of natural gas boilers for heating, the efficient use of clean energy has been achieved, and the carbon dioxide emissions generated by natural gas use have been significantly reduced, which is reduced as 97%.The plant has achieved remarkable results in environmental protection and sustainable development, contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development as well.
