September 17 – chosen by the World Health Organization as World Patient Safety Day, main purpose of which is to increase awareness of the world community about the problem of patient safety.
Mayoly Pharma takes care of our patients and strive to identify the risks associated with the use of the company’s products in a timely manner to make our products safer.
In order to increase awareness about this day and involve all employees from the office and sales force into “Safety” spirit the following events took place during this period:
- Opening of Patient Safety Week— Introduction to Global and Local Pharmacovigilance Teams- team talked about pharmacovigilance processes and the importance of this PV area in the modern world.
- Newsletter «International Safety Day» -information letter about the Safety Day, the history and traditions of this holiday.
- Publications in the Telegram channel “Truth or False about Pharmacovigilance”.
- Broadcasting of videos «Drug Safety» on screens of the Moscow office.
- Open doors of the Local Pharmacovigilance Group.
- Newsletter “History of Pharmacovigilance”
- Competition «Who will be the first to guess the crossword«.
- Training «How are the instructions for use for drugs compiled?»- we told how an information sheet for patients is compiled, how to read this information correctly, how the company takes care of and prevents risks for patients
- Training «Introduction to GCP and clinical research«- The invited expert with 25 years of experience in clinical trials presented the basics of GCP, how medicines enter the market, how clinical trials of new drugs are conducted.
On the last day, 20 Sep 2024, we summed up the results of the outgoing week and the smartest, most active participants were awarded with memorable prizes!
Mayoly continues to promote a patient safety culture, aiming to make each product as safe as possible. This set of events has once again highlighted the importance of teamwork and the involvement of every employee in security matters.
